Divisions

The Hoschton Police Department is comprised of the following Divisions:

Uniform Patrol
The Uniform Patrol Division is the the Police Department's largest and most visible division. This unit of the Police Department handles all the calls for service, all traffic oriented details, community policing and some investigative duties. The Patrol Division is the nuclei that keep the command staff informed of any problems on the horizon.

Criminal Investigation Division "C.I.D."
The Criminal Investigation Division handles all case files that require investigation or a follow up interview. This C.I.D. position is unlike the glamorous position portrayed on television. These officers put in long hours and seldom have a weekend without the potential of being called to service. The C.I.D. Unit is also the guardian of the Department's records and evidence.
