The well-operated and highly respected Hoschton Police Department has proven to be a
great asset of the City. The Department’s visibility throughout the community has had
a positive effect upon how many of our citizens view the overall quality of municipal
services. The Department has a proven track record of providing for the safety and
protection of lives and property through courteous and professional public service,
problem solving, crime prevention and law enforcement activities.
The Department employs four full-time and two part-time sworn police officers that are
engaged in criminal investigations, neighborhood patrol, traffic enforcement, crime
prevention, traffic crash investigations, DUI enforcement, record-keeping, animal control
and the Police Community Service Program.
All 911 calls for police, fire, and emergency medical responses are handled directly by the
Jackson County Emergency Communications Center. For non-emergency calls, please call
